Eli's last day of Kindergarten

Again (I feel like I say this on every post!!!), I can't believe we are at the end of Kindergarten!  This year has just FLOWN by - literally.  It seems to just get faster and faster - I remember my parents saying this, and now I totally get it!

Eli has learned so much and enjoyed every day of school!  He has come home so excited about setting a leprechaun trap in March, creating a paper mache earth, and reading books!  Mrs. Ward and Ms. Mary Beth do an outstanding job preparing these kids for first grade -this was no easy task this year with a class of all boys and just one girl!  Quite an active bunch!!!

Yesterday, Eli's class had an end of the year family picnic - the last day of school!
It is so fun to see all the kids playing and visit with all the parents!

Eli and some of his buddies!

Annual snow cones!

More buddies!

Mrs. Ward makes these awesome cookies every year!

Love what Eli wrote on the banner, "I love school!"

Another chance to play with the life size Jenga!

Thank you, Mrs. Ward - what a special  and unique teacher.  Keeping kindergarten traditional and full of play yet teaching them all the skills they need for first grade!

Ms. Mary Beth - a great partner with Mrs. Ward.

Fantastic way to end Kindergarten!
