Well, we are in the last few days before the 3rd Annual GenerosiTEA Party to benefit
Le Bonheur. About 7 of us moms get together to plan this every year! We have a fashion show with clothes from 3 different local kids' clothing stores who give $300 to have their clothes presented, activities for the girls: pottery painting, cookie decorating, card making for LB patients, beading, and Sweet and Sassy comes to do hair and nails. We also have 7 vendors coming to sell a variety of things including clothes, jewelry, purses, skin care products, books, picture frames, and specialty tea items who give 20% of their sales to LB. There is a wonderful photographer, John, who takes pictures and prints them on site giving half of his sales to LB. Finally, we have a silent auction full of things donated that are then sold and all the money goes to LB. We have a t-shirt this year, we had tv ads donated, and a little morning tv show interview spot where we told what the tea was about and our catering chef made a recipe from the tea on the air! So, it has been a busy couple of weeks/months! We are super excited for this Saturday from 11-1! If you know any mommys and daughters who would like to come - please send them our way! The food is delicious, and it is always so fun spending time with the kids and making money for Le Bonheur! (We hope to beat $10,000 this year!)
