The Friday before party day, we always make the cake! Eli loves to help... he is the cook of our family!
Yum!!
Happy 4th Birthday, Eli!
Most of our family was in town this weekend, so we had a wonderful birthday celebration for Eli a little early! We can't believe our little boy will be four in 8 days. How did this happen? How did these years fly by? More on that on his real birthday!
Here are some pics from the special day!
My good friend Brittany put me on to this great printable file you can buy from Etsy. So, we made some birthday banners, signs, crowns and other fun things for the party! Eli loves cars and trucks, so the car and truck theme was perfect!
The kids had a great time playing outside, and we got one of those bounce house things with a slide! Eli just loves those, so it was fun to have at his party!
Here he is still with his Chick Hicks mustache!!!!

Mimi and Pop got him the Bitty Twins from American Girl. Eli has been wanting these since Madeline got her AG for Christmas! They have played with these all weekend - school, bedtime, etc! They also gave him a bed for the dolls! So fun!

Tim and Uncle Steven jumped and slid, too!
Eli and Nate look a little wiped out!
Eli and his best buddy who teaches him all things cars and NASCAR - cousin Parker!
Our good friend Miles! His mom and I taught together, share one Friday night a month in the CVICU, and now Madeline is with him at Campus School!
Susanna trying to get in on the action!
Dada and Pop having fun talking and watching the kids!
Maya and Sabrina having fun swinging!
Cake Time!
Lauren Ashley serving up ice cream....
Eli and Elijah - it's fun to celebrate with good friends!
Present time from family!
Uncle Bradley, Aunt Tiff and Sabrina gave Eli a wonderful Cars blanket and stuffed Car. Right up his alley!
Uncle Steven, Aunt Dessa, Parker and LA gave him a CARS carrying case/10 car launch toy... so fun! He's been wanting that for a long time - it's a weekly "look at" at Target!
Uncle Mark, Aunt Kathy, Dacee and Ryen sent CARS jammies with Nonna and Dada for Eli! Thank you so much! The only thing that he would have liked better would have been to hug you all in person! Missed you and love you so much!
Sweet Mrs. Alyson, Eli's preschool teacher, came to the party and brought these great Trio blocks! Eli LOVES to build, so these are great for him! Elijah also gave him a set!
Nonna and Dada gave him a Loopty-Loop CARS track, a CARS jet plane, a CARS hat and cup!
Mimi and Pop got him the Bitty Twins from American Girl. Eli has been wanting these since Madeline got her AG for Christmas! They have played with these all weekend - school, bedtime, etc! They also gave him a bed for the dolls! So fun!
Madeline wasn't feeling well most of the party. She had a fever and even had to leave during the party to see the doctor. No strep or flu, but did get another Rocephin shot. Turned out she had a fever all weekend - virus on top of the sinus infection. Anyway, Eli couldn't wait to show her his new twins!
Eli's friends at the party brought dvd's for the Le Bonheur Echo rooms! Thank you for all the wonderful donations! We are sure the kids will appreciate those! Nate and Elijah had already left the party - thank you so much!
Susanna and Sabrina came in on the action after their naps! Sabrina got the fruit off the table and they had a little picnic!
A super fun day to celebrate our sweet boy's special day!
Looks precious! You did a great job. So sorry Madeline is still feeling bad. Happy early birthday Eli!
