Two Birthday Guys

I have to apolgize to the two birthday boys that this post is a little belated! Tim's brother Mark's birthday was the 22nd and Dada's birthday was the 23rd!

We wanted to give Mark and Dada a little birthday tribute!
Hope you each had a wonderful birthday!

Mark has not been feeling well, and they are getting ready to move in a week. Needless to say, with two little ones at Christmas and all the other things they have been dealing with, it has been a stressful December! Hope you were able to relax a little between Christmas preparations and painting the new house! We love you, Uncle Mark!
Here are a few of our favorite pictures of you!

A visit with Mark and Kathy before they had kids...

Mark and their first sweet baby, Dacee!

On the VERY important day when Dacee became an "OFFICIAL" Flack!
(Though, she was officially ours to all of us on April 13, 2010 - her birthday!)

During a visit last February ... the weekend before Ryen was born!

Mark and his second sweet baby just a couple days after he was born!

In June for the Flack Beach Trip!
Having fun with Parker...

Introducing Dacee to the ocean!

Hope you had a wonderful birthday, Uncle Mark; we love you!!

Happy Birthday to you, too, Dada! We hope you had a super wonderful day watching football, relaxing and getting ready for the family to invade on Sunday afternoon!
We love you! Here are some fun pictures we love of Dada!

I have always loved this picture of the grandkids... it's a few years old and about three kids short, but I still love it!

Madeline's birthday this year...

Dada loves to be in the mix with the kids! Of course, they all LOVE this!
Game night on the beach trip...

Playing in the water with Sus...

and the sand with Eli!

Dada loves to be silly with the kids - must be a grandpa thing!
Our kids are so lucky to get this on both sides for sure!!!!
On the Fourth of July, we were given some yummy cupcakes!
Here are Eli and Dada acting crazy with the bright dye!

(sorry this one was blurry, but you get the idea!)

Watching Parker's soccer game...

Walking with Dacee ...

Holding baby Ryen...

Celebrating Lauren Ashley (13) and Parker's (9) birthday!

Love this one with Lauren Ashley - the first of SEVEN grandkids!!!!

We love you, Dada! Hope you had a wonderful day!

Christmas Cheer

Here are some things we've been up to celebrating the Christmas Season!

First Annual "Lighting Le Bonheur!" LOVED this!!!
The kids especially loved the hot chocolate!

Our annual attendance of the Nutcracker Ballet! Maybe next year Susanna can come, too. It was during her nap time, so no one would have been able to watch or listen!

The last 15 minutes, Eli fell asleep! But, he saw his favorite part - when the children dance out from under the the "table dress!"

Madeline's violin group got to play for Le Bonheur patients.

Our first year to go to "Snowy Nights" at My Big Backyard at the Botanic Gardens.
It was so fun! Only $5 for members!

There was fake snow! They loved this!

Everything was just so much more fun in the dark!

They had fire pits and marshmallows and hot dogs for roasting!
This was a good trial run for a possible spring camping trip ...

Susanna LOVED the marshmallows ... not surprised, I think she has our sweet teeth!

There were a bunch of winter related activities. One was a "Snow Globe" - an enclosed area with all this fake snow! The kids loved slipping and sliding .. .

Eli really loved it!

This was too cute; kinda hard for us to coordinate looking at the same time!

Very fun - definitely worth doing again next year!

The children singing at church. Our church, Redeemer Presbyterian, is a new church plant. It's pretty young, about 5 years old. This is the first year for children to sing! The kids had so much fun, and the moms in charge did such an awesome job! We were so proud of our two big kids singing - really just so fun to watch them up there!
